Sparks Steak House

The Sparks Steak House is a restaurant located at 210 East 46th Street between Second & Third Avenues in Midtown Manhattan.

History

The restaurant was founded by brothers Pat and Mike Cetta in 1966. It was originally located on East 18th Street, but moved to its current location in 1977.

It is the establishment where Gambino crime family boss Paul Castellano and underboss Thomas Bilotti were gunned down near its entrance in 1985. The hit was under the orders from John Gotti.[1]

The entrance to the restaurant can also be seen in the opening scene of the 2004 film The Last Shot.
